Call for Volunteer Film Extras
Would you like to join as an extra in the new film by Akita-born director Yoichi Narita, who made Even If This Love Disappears From the World Tonight, which won eight Japan Academy Awards?
This film, inspired by the “Kanano Senpu” (Kanano Wind) that thrilled Akita residents at the Summer Koshien baseball tournament, received support from many people through a crowdfunding campaign launched in April this year, and production of the pilot version, “Episode 0,” which serves as the prologue to the main story, has been decided.
The film is also scheduled to feature Daisen City and “Omagari Fireworks” as one of its settings.
We are now recruiting volunteer extras for filming in Daisen City.
This is a rare chance to take part in filmmaking! We encourage you to apply!
[Filming Dates]
Scheduled for Saturday, September 12 to Wednesday, September 16, 2026
[Filming Location]
Omogawa riverbank (near Omagari Fireworks Park)
